So in the Beginning I found these gas tank dumped in the desert - gas tanks must be removed before scraping and some one thought the desert would look nicer with a few rusty gas tanks laying around . I hooked up a rope and dragged them for miles, my dogs were scared to death with all the noise and walked a good distance to the side.

Most of the Wing and the pontoons came from these old tanks. Rear fuselage behind the Wing was this really old 2 or 3 gal. oil drum . A propane tank was repurposed as a engine nacelle with air scoops made from a real Russian fighter given to me from a friend. The engine gear box was a find from another friend, with a 50’s ladle part from a desert dump as a prop cowl . Float Struts are a desk left at next to a trashcan pickup. The Vertical stabilizer was my old chop saw . Thanks to Larry who picked up the old mine rail 50 years ago and Helen for burning her Lazy boy- thanks to the cop for not giving her a ticket. The Wing tank was a hike find a 1950’s lamp from a old dump- who would carry their trash all the way out there? and back then that must have been REALLY out there.

Built over a period of maybe 5 year First entered to the Glow show at the TRIANGLE L RANCH in 2018 and she was based there for 2 years returned to the Factory / studio for up dated Avionics and launch pad mods. I would guess She weights at least 6 or 7 hundred pounds. 6 or 7 feet with taller bases tall, wing span 5.5 or 6 ft and 7 ft fuselage. Pilot works for free but is getting old and argumentative hope she doesn’t crack under preserve . You could apply your airlines name for 6000.00 $
