My full sized ”in charge” women sculptures

Dances with Guns

Dances with Guns Of all my full sized strong and powerful women, she is my favorite. Influenced by her Native culture, she is a magical dancer. …and I love those heels! I still laugh when I see the controlling man in her back! This buxom beauty is driven by a man. The control room has all the necessary controls, levers, gauges, and hand wheels to run her…or drive her crazy. While he wields a pistol to secure her back, it’s almost overkill, as she is fully armed with a Thompson 1928 machine gun and a 45 long Schofield revolver and can definitely take care of herself. …as with most women she doesn't really need a man, but is stuck with one anyway. She is 7 foot high, and I’m guessing over a 1000 lbs. Gently fashioned of organic shapes cut from steel plate and various vintage and antique treasures found in the vast deserts of southern Arizona. The base, which can be can be unbolted, is a rotor from a very rare Sikorsky CH-37C Mojave helicopter. The composition weighs in at approximately 1000 lbs, which may keep her from dancing away. Many hours and adventures have gone into finding, cutting, shaping and assembling the thousands of pieces of repurposed iron and steel that make her the magnificent woman she is today. It’s been a long, and sometimes grueling, love affair. I hope she never leaves me, but knowing her, now that she’s got it all together, for $6,000 dollars US, she’d probably be on the very next train out of town without even a glance back in my direction.
