Dumped in the Desert this 17”x 14” sketch a well used car was abandoned in the desert. It was the Browns first new car and traded in after 7years. Brought by the Beeches as a second car after raising the kids Mrs Beech was the second grade a teacher, many a happy summer day driving to the lake taking the children swimming. The next owner Tom worked in a gas station after school and kept up on the repairs. Sold to his friend who drove with a lead foot and declined to keep up on repairs. Speed shifting broke the tranny, while joy riding in the desert. The engine was sold to his friend, and Tony a rancher found the carcass removed the axles and other useful parts. Being in such a remote area hidden by the thick growth along a wash, the rusted body was in pretty good shape.
