Known as the pocket model, it was small for that time frame. Favored by secret agents, under cover police, generals and mad scientists, the Smith and Wes 8 shot steel frame Revolver was very poplar. It was designed with Generals in mind having 2 safeties, because they are known for shooting themselves in the foot . This is one of my Latest hand gun sculptures , I am really liking the Steampunk look . The rust in not as deep as most of my work yet, I like rust the deep pitted rich color rust, which will come with age I do not clear coat my work. I keep most of my weapon sculptures on the porch were they can become weathered, but I live in Arizona were the weather is different than other places. There is traces of bluing on the barrel . This sculpture feels good in my hand and ‘sort of’ looks real but has that really old or fantasy look. The cylinder is from a compressor, and the rest of reclaimed materials were worked in to make up the story. The sculpture weights 3 pounds 5 oz and is about 11 x 7 x 2 1/2 inches. 350.00$
