Always liked those little windmills people put in their yards, this one was donated by a neighbor after losing its prop and strength. I had Started a Zeppelin years ago, but the workers when on strike. I was going for that see-through light weight expanded metal look . I was going to fill the insides with lights on the end of a 16 ft pole. this turned to be impossible (wind X weight factor) mounted on a moveable base. The pole was shorten to the tower height, still even on the huge base the Zeppelin wanted to take off - “fall down” in the high winds .Heavy Metal and disc brake rotors were added. With safety addressed I added my control tower and characters. Ground crew, pompom girl, pilots and crew were trained the tower and Zeppelin were transported. Lights were added .

The wind was strong up on the hill and all the props were really spinning, so much that people thought the Zeppelin was powered by motors! The props which I had installed so they turned in different directions hummed loud enough to be heard over the music at times . Even though finishing came as closer to unfinished, due to a two week camping trip the week before, “my children “ the dogs insisted we go, everything worked out pretty well. There were 4 wonderful nights and a couple of trips between.
