Mass video spectrometer It all stared with a rusted piece of metal which I found hiking in the Desert and reminded me of a port hole,it was really old and very weathered . A friend came up with the name when we were watching TV ,most of the other parts were found by me when hiking . There was a few other finds by another friend who keeps a eye out when hunting . The Best part “the Story” came from a fellow artist's blog ,He had wrote A story about a steampunk airship and I realized I had found the wreckage. Judging from the mangled remains I could tell the airship blew apart. The distance the wreckage was scattered leads me and the search team to believe that the steamship was very high 10,000 ft or higher . The most damaged and spread out parts were from the “Mass video spectrometer”.
The Captain was a known peanut butter addict and peanut butter dripped into the Mass video spectrometer could have caused the steam relief valve to stick causing a high pressure explosion.
Later airships were peanut butter proof and the spectrometer was placed in the engine room, next to the no eating sign . The search for the remaining airship parts was ground to a halt when funding was cut . This piece could be used in another airship restoration, But I envision a stand alone sculpture memorializing the fallen aircrews that kept the steamship story afloat. This tribute would fit nicely in your lawn, Church, Museum or World. This Sculpture would have cost a sum of 23,964.00$ if commissioned but due to a over site in my gallery for a One time donation this part of fictionalized history could be yours for……..1000.29$ the .29 cents is case you need to bargain me down.
