The Steam Clock Is a sculpture that was made with really weathered medal that I found hiking in the Desert. The base was made from my found rusty steel stock, but the top architecture was found while the sculpture was being made , piece by piece as I walked everyday . There was really a lot of rust making it difficult to work with, but it has that totally eaten away destroyed look that I wanted. The sculpture is about 8 ft and the top moves in the wind. There is some WWII bomb fragments, a glove box door from a very old car, electric and gas motor parts, the second floor is made from a 55 gal drum or what was left of one .
This sculpture is for sale at 1,200$
The Steamed Clock
The Steamed Clock has a very sad story behind it,at one time the Steam Clock belonged to the Nutt family.
Mr & Mrs Nutt bought the Clock for their 7 year old Billy for his birthday . The 8500$ Price tag did not stop Mr Nutt from Buying the clock because Steam was up and coming. And Billy like kids his age did not go out and play ,but stayed inside playing with steam on the steamnet, Mr & Mrs had a big birthday party with all billy's 37 class mates.Billy loved his peanut butter sandwiches and was eating one as he opened the clock and peanut butter was dripped on the pressure relief valve. The fire was started and the steam was built up , Mr nutt was in the next town buying more coal when it blew , He was still knocked to the floor even tho he was 12 miles away! his town was burnt to the ground .In all 937 people lost their life, but there is a bright side to this story , Mr Nutt auctioned the wreckage as a Wesley A. Smith Sculpture for 75.000.oo$ It was renamed The Barbie War torn sniper tree house. Oh and Mr. Nutt became a Steam airship Captain. Which later Crashed (see Mass Vidio Spectoritor)
